Universal has shifted and set the dates for many of its big upcoming movies, including “Warcraft,” “The Mummy” reboot and “Pacific Rim 2.”

“Pacific Rim 2” has been pushed from April 2, 2017, to August 4, 2017. Guillermo del Toro will return to direct the sequel to the 2013 action-adventure.

“Warcraft,” based on Blizzard Entertainment’s hit videogame “World of Warcraft,” has shifted from March 11, 2016, to June 10, 2016. Duncan Jones will direct from a script by himself and Charles Leavitt.

The reboot of the “Mummy” franchise was moved almost a year back, from June 24, 2016, to March 24, 2017. Alex Kurtzman will direct as well as produce, along with Chris Morgan and Sean Daniel.

Tom Cruise’s “Mena,” which will see the actor reunite with his “Edge of Tomorrow” director Doug Liman, will be released Jan. 6, 2017.

Universal has also dated an untitled monster franchise film on March 30, 2018, which has been moved back from its original April 21, 2017, date. The series will be produced and overseen by Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan.

The dates came after Universal’s CinemaCon panel, during which it announced the two “Fifty Shades of Grey” sequels — “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shade Freed” — will be released in February 2017 and 2018. Vin Diesel also confirmed at the panel that “Furious 8” would arrive in theaters on April 14, 2017.
